Things are getting thick at XYZ Entertainment as more artists continue to exit the label. Ruff Kid, Damiano, Lloydee, Stevo, Krytic and Kantu have called it quits at the label hours after DJ H-Mac resigned as the label’s manager.

While DJ H-Mac made it clear why he left the label, all the other artists who followed after him have not spoken on why they left the label. This has raised more questions than answers.

The former manager said that after 10 years at the label, he felt it is time to move on.

“I do feel I have given the organization my very best and for lack of a better term, I have hit the ceiling and I feel it’s time for others to step in and offer new energy,” he stated.

He also thanked the label’s founder Slapdee for giving him an opportunity to manage the label and artists for years especially when beginning out yet he was a greenhorn.

“Special thanks goes to Mr. Musonda (Slapdee) for believing in me at such a young age to manage not only his brand but the brands of all artists that have ever been signed to this mighty record label.”

XYZ CEO Bobby East while weighing in on the speculations compounding H-Mac’s exit asked fans to stop being social media experts with false narratives. He said that H-Mac will explain the circumstances surrounding his exit, if he feels obliged to do so.

“Social media is weird af ...it will have strangers trying to be experts in something they know nothing about..If and when my guy decides he wants to explain then he will let you know…Meantime he will remain what he has always been to me and that’s a brother and one of my best friends for life,” he said.
