As we start this new week, we take a look at some of the new music videos that Nigerian musicians released over the past few days in the ever-busy Nigerian music scene.

Falz – Mercy

After the success of the previous ‘Squander’ video featuring Niniola, Nigerian rapper, and songwriter Falz returns with his first song of 2021 titled ‘Mercy’ – accompanied by an official music video.

In the video that premiered on August 19, 2021, Falz pulls off a street carnival in the heart of Lagos Island in this amazing piece of work directed by Dammy Twitch.

Omawumi – My Life ft Phyno

From the recently released project ‘Love Deep High Life’ – Nigerian singer-songwriter Omawumi on August 19, 2021, presented the official music for the single ‘My Life’ that features rapper Phyno. The new video is directed by Frizzle N Bizzle.

Dangbana Republik & Bella Shmurda – Far Away

Far Away is one of the standout records off Bella Shmurda's second music project ‘High Tension 2.0’which was released early in July 2021. Bella Shmurda says the record is a very special one to him. ‘Far Away’ video directed by AJE. Check out the visuals for the record below: -

Liya – Adua

Hours after releasing her highly anticipated debut EP Alari, DMW first lady Liya unveiled the official music video for the single ‘Adua’ off the project.  The record is a mid-paced song delivered largely in Yoruba and has an amazing video accompanying it. The video premiered on August 23, 2021.
