Macky 2 Unapologetic Over His Role in PF Campaign Song

Zambian Hip-hop star Mulaza Kaira alias Macky 2 is not about to let critics nail him down. He says that his campaign song for Patriotic Front (PF) party ‘Aleteka Nakambi’ was a business deal that he got paid for.

The ‘Alabalansa’ hit maker argued that an artist accepts everything that comes as long as it brings food to the table.

“Music is business, we accept anything that can bring food on the table. The Songs we did for PF was business. We got paid and gave them the return. We are all one Zambia one Nation,” he said.

A few days ago, Macky 2 wondered how he moved from being the people’s hero to a villain due to criticism he got after UPND won the presidential election over PF party.

“Mmmm…Awe Filetukana Muma Comments. How did I go from hero to villain?” he posed.

Macky 2 is signed under Kalandanya Music Promotions (KMP) alongside other top artists that include; Yo Maps, Mampi and Nez Long.

Following the election of President-elect Hakainde Hichilema, the KMP artists came under sharp criticism for endorsing the ruling party despite the challenges that faced the country under the previous government.
