No sooner had he posted this, than a debate ensued with netizens giving their opinions on his comment section. Some told him to “continue dreaming because its free” while others questioned his musical success.

“Dreaming is free all I can tell you is wake up from sleep brother man and continue pushing your ka small business you can't even make hit for you local people how will *AS find it's way there,” Dj Hype told La’wino (Sic).

Kelly Moon drew comparison between La’wino and Australia-based rapper Sampa The Great saying no Zambian song is capable of winning a Grammy. Moon said Zambian artists are not capitalizing on “international platforms”, therefore reducing their chances of getting a Grammy.

“Thats the main reason why Zambian artists are not getting international achievement cause the are not using international platform......The radio and TV platform are limited and they are old fashion unlike the internet platform like youtube, soundcloud etc. remember the internet is worldwide and has a lot of audience unlike just been local,” Moon stated (Sic).

Chipale questioned how La’wino would clinch a Grammy award “when he has no local award yet”.
