Chanda Mbao Speaks of Alleged Beef with Pompi

For quite some time, it has been perceived that Zambian musicians Pompi and Macky 2 have been beefing at each other. Some blogs claimed that Chanda dissed Pompi in one of his latest productions.

However, Chanda Mbao dismissed the reports as idle talk, stating that those behind the reports are only interested in chasing clicks.

According to Chanda Mbao, he is a victim of blogs using his name to get more clicks on their content by creating non-existent beef between him and Pompi. He urged the public to take time and verify a story before believing its contents.

“My only thing is, at least, take some time to verify a story or think a little bit more deeply…,” he told PMC on Joy FM.

Speaking of his latest release ‘Luyando’ featuring Rich Bizzy, Chanda Mbao said he is a big fan of his music, adding that he had always looked forward to working with Bizzy.

He described Bizzy as Zambia’s version of ‘Diamond Platnumz’ and that it took him months to try and get him to the studio.

“When he came, I said you know this is a big collaboration that people don’t expect I think we need to use it to say something,” he said adding that he came up with the message of unity and harmony for Zambia during this electioneering period.
