Wezi Heartsound’s Statement after Leaving Elation Entertainment for Nexus

Zambian musician Wezi Heartsound is all about positive vibes for her former label Elation Entertainment. She left the label recently for her new home, Nexus Music Entertainment.

Speaking after parting ways with Elation, Wezi noted that the label has been part of her biggest musical growth since she started out years back.

“My journey with Elation Entertainment was a learning experience for the most part. I literally was part of the build up from scratch and the original artists to sign,” she wrote.

She is happy that she has accomplished more than her contract with the label stipulated. She is also grateful that the label supported her through her music journey to a point that she is now a star.

“With everything that has a beginning, there is an ending and we exhausted our agreement till it’s very last day! I honored all my obligations and did far more than I signed up to do for the label and I am very proud of what I managed to accomplish in my time as a signed artist at elation.

“I’d like to send out my best wishes to the CEO, Mr. Sokwani Peter Chilembo and the entire Elation Entertainment family. I wish you all the best in all the future endeavors and know that no matter where I go, it’s always going to be a fact that we began the label together and I will always be very proud of that. Thanks for the memories!”
