Yaw Tog Reveals The Reason for Naming His EP "Time"

Ghana's youngest and fast-rising drill rapper Thorsten Owusu Gyimah popularly known as Yaw Tog has disclosed the inspiration behind the ‘Time’ title to his recently released ‘Time EP’.

In an interview with NYDJ on Y102.5FM’s RyseNShyne Yaw Tog said. ‘I named this project Time because it’s my time to shine. I just wanted to make people know that everything I’m doing now is because it’s my time to shine so no matter what they do, I’ll  continue so they should just support .’

According to the rapper, everything manifested in his life was ordained by the Lord, and no one can hinder what God has planned. Even though he wishes to produce hits daily his management will never permit it.

‘Time EP’ is the rapper’s first-ever studio project. It houses 7 stellar records like Gold Friends, Boys, Fake Ex, Mood ft Sean Lifer, Y33ge, Time and a remix to his breakthrough jam Sore.

Yaw Tog linked up with UK rapper Stormzy and his counterpart Kwesi Arthur for Sore Remix which flew high garnering more than 4 million views just under four months since its premiere.
