The self-proclaimed king of African dancehall shared the tweet which read, “Ghana this is our own lets all support if Sark win Ghana win,” The tweet was well received by both Sarkodie’s and Shatta wale fans because of their past history.
Even though the reason for the beef between the two musicians is unknown, records show that the two were once best of friends. While Shatta Wale and Sarkodie have featured each other on songs such as M3 gye wu girl, they have also performed side by side on major stages like 2015 Ghana Meets Naija.

Previous efforts to reconcile the two have been unsuccessful because they always find ways of making provocative comments about each other or engaging in endless lyrical wars or through indirect tweets. Nonetheless, it looks like Shatta Wale’s positive move to support Sarkodie is going to be the beginning of the two superstars making peace and becoming good friends again.
