The much-awaited 2021 South Africa Music Awards (SAMA27) finally went down on Saturday, July 31, 2021.

Renowned artists; Sho Madjozi, DJ Maphorisa, and Kabz De Small are among the big names that scooped awards under the different categories they were nominated in.

The event was held virtually in line with Covid-19 protocols. This was the 27th edition of the award gala that was established in 1995.
