A week later, they released another beautiful song dubbed ‘Asimbonanga’ marking Mandela Day 2021.

South Africa marks Mandela Day every year in honour of the late Nelson Mandela who fought for independence of the nation.

Happy Birthday Tata Nelson Mandela. May your unwavering spirit of Ubuntu continue to inspire our nation when we need it most. No one is born hating another person because of the colour of his skin, or his background, or his religion. People must learn to hate, and if they can learn to hate, they can be taught to love, for love comes more naturally to the human heart than its opposite’ - Tata Nelson Mandela,” the choir captioned the song.

The group’s relatable and moving songs have made it a darling among South Africans. The same can be seen in the recognitions they have received overtime, with the latest being the SAMA award.
