Ghana’s fast-rising star, Frank Bortey popularly known to many as Kweku Greene is set to drop his EP dubbed ‘Shades of Greene’ on 29th of July 2021.

Shades of Greene is a five-track project that resonates from the day-to-day issues of love, romance, life, testimonies, and experiences of the artist’s life.

Sarkodie Discloses How He Composed Vibration

Categorizing each piece in the EP, the artist said that the body of work is a portrayal of his diversity and unique style of work.

‘Life’s experiences have made me what I am today and have also inspired me to release this EP, Shade of Greene to the World. It throws light on the diverse and unique style of me, the artist. It is a five-track body of work with varying styles in Afro-Fusion consisting of a beautiful tune and a voice that soothes.

‘Pon De Road is the first track in the Ep and talks about life’s hustles. It decimates falsehood and paints a picture of the perfect love stories and sacrifices they make to sustain their bond. It is an assurance of true love and dedication.

Enough is a protest song against politicians and false promises. It is a wake-up call to all politicians to honour their promises.

Into You was inspired by true love. The exhibition of genuine affection for one’s partner. It is centred on commitment.

Falling is a beautiful piece of work dedicated to all lovers out there.

To finalize the list is ‘Take Me Away’ Its main focus is on a dire situation we have to go through in order to make it in life. The track describes life on the streets and how violent it can sometimes be.’’ he said.

The EP comes after the artist released, some epic masterpieces earlier this year like Heaven, Dombolo, Juju, Plenty, and Money. The records have garnered favourable airplay which have increased his fan base.
