Celebrated Ugandan musician Allan Hendrick aka Paper Daddy has dropped a new song dubbed’ We are Tired’.

‘We are Tired’ is a reggae jam that expresses frustrations artists and Ugandans at large have experienced as a result of the lockdown imposed by the government due to the rising Covid-19 cases in the country.

He notes that the livelihood of Ugandans has been compromised, schools have been closed and many are getting depressed as life keeps on getting tougher.

“It is not a situation that affects your life, it is the meaning you give to the situation, which affects your emotions and actions. Your choice is to change the meaning you gave it or to change your response, in order to create the outcome you want. Appreciate and don’t take for granted the things and people you have. Better yet take the good out of the situations you may face..” Paper Daddy wrote while introducing the song.

The video was directed by Elly Workz, and audio produced by Vad Beats.

Reacting to the new release, fans hailed Paper Daddy for using his creativity to drive the message home.

“Indeed we’re tired of a lockdown situation, thanks to paper daddy for this tune,” Essy Gagamel commented.

“Beautiful music ...Nice reggae music with a positive message,” said KrYbba TV.

Prior to ‘We are Tired’, the artist had released ‘Mutima’ which is equally doing well online and across Ugandan media.
