Ugandan musician Bebe Cool has responded to criticism against him for featuring his wife Zuena Kirema Ssali in his new video 'Make A Wish', noting that he was appreciating and exposing her beauty to the world.

In an interview with UNCUT, Bebe Cool told of his critics stating that the Zuena featuring in the video was a branding technique meant to market her bakery business.

He further noted that instead of attacking him, Ugandans should take lessons from him on how to build brands.

"I would like to educate Ugandans that coming out like this helps you build your brand in that when you get a business in future, you won't need a lot of money for marketing. When you talk about cakes in Uganda, my wife's name comes first because we made a name.

“Ugandans are backward with the thought that a man is supreme in everything. My wife may not be an artist but I'm helping her build her brand, maybe people will support her as an individual, not because I'm her husband," he said.

The ‘Make A Wish’ video is the second project Bebe Cool has featured his wife as a vixen. She first appeared in Bebe Cool’s 'Kasepiki' hit song aimed at Bobi Wine that dropped in the mid-2000s.
