VET Awards: Levixone Crowned Best African Act of the Year

Top Ugandan gospel artist Levixone has been awarded the Best African Act of Year at the 2021 VET Awards held in Kampala Uganda.

Levixone also won the Video of the Year category thanks to his ‘Celebrate jam ‘ft Beza Deborah.

Taking to Instagram, he thanked his fans for the support and Vine Awards for the nomination. He has dedicated the award  to all the gospel artists in Uganda.

“I can’t take this for granted, my beautiful people of Uganda and the whole world congratulations, this win is for everybody,” he posted.

Vine awards celebrates and rewards Christians who are extraordinarily impacting their spheres of influence.

It also recognizes influencers in entertainment, media, business, and governance.

Apart from Levixone, other recognized artists who won during the award gala include; 

  • Coopy Bly - Artist of the year
  • ‘Kabaka Kristo ‘ by Grace Nakimera- Song of the year
  • DJ Pius- DJ of the year
  • Paul Selah &Hype Squad- Dance group of the year
  • Uncle Mark - Comedian of the year
  • Juliet Namukasa - Spoken word of the year
  • Mildred - New artist of the year
