Eddy Kenzo ft Ugadance Kids ‘Weekend’: New Music Uganda [Dance Video]

Renowned Ugandan musician Eddy Kenzo has dropped a dance video to his latest jam dubbed ‘Weekend’.

In the jam, the artist asks his lover to forget the previous week’s setback, let loose and enjoy the weekend while refreshing her mind and preparing for what to come. He also shares his fear of getting heartbroken. 

‘It’s a weekend, rotate, so baby reset. Njangala mind to refresh. And forget the past yeh, no no I am scared of a heartbreak…"

The video which was shot in rural Uganda features kids from Ugadance Kids Africa dancing to moves like Salsa and Shaku Shaku. It has been well received and gained more than 5,000 views on YouTube in just under 24 hours. 

Other than the Weekend dance video, the group has done dance covers to various top jams including Born in Africa, Aaye and Monie by Eddy Kenzo, Amaboko by Diamond Platnumz ft Rayvanny, and Fik-Fameica’s Buligita.

Meanwhile, the ‘Weekend’ official video has been doing great since its release and currently has more than half a million views on YouTube.
