Abuse in relationships is a sensitive subject that many people are suffering silently from, but are not willing to open up about it. According to Aurah, being a better man means no domestic abuse.
‘Stay’ is a beautiful, systemic RnB song oozing wisdom and hope for those going through abusive relationships and don’t know where to turn to. Aurah notes that she has seen it all in her life which is what inspired the song.
Aurah further notes that she’s heard different women speak on the issue and they always say they will ‘Stay’ in the relationship hoping it changes. As a solution, walking out could be the only thing that makes things right.

“Being in an abusive relationship can be a difficult situation to be in and to talk about. Sadly this can happen to anyone. If you or someone you know is in a relationship that's unsafe don’t hesitate to get help,” she said.
‘Stay’ is one of the songs in her soon to be released EP dubbed ‘The Gift’.
‘The Gift’ embodies many aspects of relationships that people get into and touches on real life issues that people face in their day to day life.
