Speaking during a recent interview, Grace noted that charity activities have been part of her life, but music has been overshadowing them. Now that the entertainment scene is on lockdown, she says her focus has shifted towards supporting charity organisations under the campaign 'Feed The Streets'.

"Music refused so I'm doing this. I'm not hurt by the situation because I did music for a long time and I'm satisfied with what I did. What I'm doing right now makes me happy and it is not to please anybody else but myself. It is fun for me and I don't see the challenges as problems," Grace Nakimera told Spark TV.

Nakimera has made a name in the music scene thanks to her amazing talent, and now hopes to put a smile on the faces of the less fortunate in society.

A few months ago, she encouraged artists to consider working with charity organisations until the government allows them back on stage.

She argued that most artists enjoy a huge following and can play a key role in mentoring youngsters.
