Grace Nakimera Implores Ugandan Artists to Participate in Charity Events

Celebrated Ugandan gospel musician Grace Nakimera has advised fellow artists to always support charity events, noting that it is important to give back to the community.

Nakimera is one of the few artists who have created a legacy not only through her music, but also through her involvement in charity work.

"I call upon all artists both men and women to try so hard and love the vulnerable people. Always look around in your neighborhood because we are supposed to help and love the each other.

"We should not only focus on when the bars will be opened or be allowed back on stage but also try so hard to make a difference in someone else's life. You may have released many songs but what is your story and what you have left behind. The little I have done, I call upon everybody to join me," Grace told Spark TV.

Nakimera is currently one of top gospel musicians in the country after making a switch from the secular world.

A part from music, she is currently involved in charity work under her organization “Feed the streets Foundation.”
