During the 2017 edition, Ykee Benda together with Zimbabwean artist Jah Prayzah and Mozambican singer Mr. Bow excited fans with a special version of Ykee's 'Superman' and it trended more than the original single.

Fans were expecting Ykee Benda to release the official remix after the Coke Studio show, but he opted to release the original ‘Superman’ video.

Speaking during a recent interview, he revealed that he didn't want the remix to overshadow his new video.

"We really wanted to do the remix but the timing was very hard. Plus when I released the original and people liked it, I felt that I didn't want to ruin what I had worked so hard on," Ykee Benda explained.

He dropped a hint that the artists may feature on his upcoming ‘Kirabo’ album.

"Not all hope is lost. Never know they may appear on my new album," he said.
