Sama Sojah Responds to Claims of Stealing Late Radio Mowzey’s Unreleased Songs

Fast-rising Ugandan artist Sama Sojah has hit out at critics claiming he stole late Radio Mowzey's hard disc containing his unreleased music.

For quite some time now, social media has been filled with claims that Sama Sojah got access to late Radio’s songs and is currently releasing one after the other.

Speaking during a recent interview, Sama Sojah noted that he is a good singer and songwriter who doesn’t need to rely on others for him to succeed.

"I pity those people who say things like that because they have a problem. But I have no issues with them because whatever I do, I do it for myself and the fans that enjoy my music. If you don't like it, then that is not my problem," he said.

During the interview, he also refuted claims that he colluded with Producer Chagga to steal Radio’s songs, noting that his relationship with the latter is strictly professional.

"Chagga works with Red Zone entertainment. I'm just an artist who is there to record music. That is the business I have with them," Sama Sojah told NBS TV.

Sama Sojah is an established songwriter in Uganda. He s credited for writing Amaaso by Vinka and Winnie Nwagi, Ndiwuwo and Nsirikamu by Bebe Cool, Amazina by Fik Roots and Stabua Natooro among others.
