Speaking during an interview with the Ayekoo After-Drive show on Happy98.9FM, the highlife musician said that even though he had been off the music scene for close to two years prior to the Covid-19, the pandemic greatly affected his music career, paralyzing his source of income.

“COVID-19 worried me a whole lot. My work is mostly about performances so the restrictions prevented me from doing all of that and it was really a worry,” he said to Dr Cann.
He further clarified that although his career was largely affected, he was able to fend for himself during those tough times, by doing construction work, which he is still into thus he was able to keep making some money whenever he got clients in need of his construction services.

“I’m still into construction so when any contract comes through, I can just take it and send my boys to the field,” he said.
The ‘Bue Kwan’ crooner also revealed that he had been putting some money aside for the income he had been earning from his music over the years, which kept him going for some time.
