Davis D Celebrates 200K Streams for ‘Itaara’ in One Week

Just a week after Rwandan music star Davis D released his now song ‘Itaara’, he is celebrating its quick success. The song has managed to clock 210,000 views on YouTube.

In an appreciative tone, Davis thanked his fans for being loyal and supportive of his music.

“Thanks my people you did it 200k video kuri audio gusa twanditse Amateka,nta choice nsigaranye uretse Iyo kubaha itara video niki mwifuza ko kizagaragara muri video? I will do it for you without you guys there is no Shineboy,” he posted on Instagram.

‘Itaara’ was bound to gain huge airplay as it carries an important message which resonates with Rwandans.

The song preaches hope and encouragement in the times of Covid-19. He wrote the song for his family, friends and fans to encourage them and give them hope that things will one day be okay despite the pandemic wiping out the key things the country lived for.

‘Itaara’ has been lauded by Rwandans, with some fans saying it is deep and inspiring.
