Burna Boy, Yemi Alade, Mr Eazi To Feature In Angelique Kidjo's Upcoming Album 'Mother Nature'

Three Nigerian singers are set to be featured in an upcoming album from the Beninese-American singer-songwriter, actress, and activist Angelique Kidjo.

Angelique Kidjo has announced that her album titled 'Mother Nature' will be dropping on June 18, 2021.

Giving an update of the album, the Grammy awards winner said the album will feature among others Burna Boy, Yemi Alade and Mr Eazi.

'I am very grateful to have so many guests joining me of the album: Yemi Alade, Burna Boy, Mr Eazi, Salif Keita, Shungudzo, Sampa The Great, GhettoBoy, EarthGang, and many more!" Angelique Kidjo posted on her official Facebook page.

She also shared a link to the album which is already available for pre-order.

According to the link, a recent collaboration between Angelique Kidjo and Yemi Alade dubbed 'Dignity' is part of the 13-track lalbum.

'Dignity' already has an official music video that premiered on March 26, 2021 and already has over a million views on YouTube.

Angelique Kidjo also announced the release of a new single off the upcoming along in which she featured Banku pioneer Mr Eazi.

"I am also thrilled this morning to share a new song, “Africa, One Of A Kind” featuring Mr. Eazi and Salif Keita," she said.

While describing the upcoming 'Mother Nature' album, Angelique Kidjo said: "This album is a love letter to Mother Earth and all the values we hold dear: truth, trust, love, connection. If there’s anything the pandemic has taught us, it’s that we are all a part of the same ecosystem—this planet is all we have."
