Azawi Explains How Joining Swangz Avenue Changed Her Music Career

Fast-rising Ugandan musician Azawi has opened up on joining Swangz Avenue record label, noting that it was a major milestone that revolutionized her music career.

It's been a year since Azawi signed for the label, and so far, she has been able to rise on the music scene and is currently one of the best songwriters in the country.

Speaking during a recent interview, Azawi noted that Swangz avenue has made her music career much simpler especially the music distribution and marketing aspect.

"It has been a journey of learning, experiencing new things and meeting new people. These guys are giants/big icons in the industry and having the privilege to work with them to this level is a blessing," Azawi said.

She divulged that life before joining the label was difficult as she struggled to get her music to the airwaves, but was not successful.

"There was no way I could drop this opportunity for any amount of cash because what they were offering me was a lifetime opportunity, so I don't know where I would be without them," she divulged.

Under the label, Azawi has managed to drop an EP and is currently working on her debut album set to be released later this year.
