Fast-rising Ugandan artist Azawi has dropped a new video dubbed ‘My Year’.

In ‘My Year’, the Swangz Avenue star offers encouragement to those who seem to have lost hope in life due to challenges associated with things like making money, success, marriage, having babies among others.

The audio was produced by Michael "Fingaz" Mugisha. It was mixed and mastered by Daniel "MZK4" Levy Lwanga.
The video was shot and directed by Kenny Roc Mumba during her trip to South Africa earlier this year.

During the lock down, Azawi spent most of her time in studio and recorded a number of songs that she’s put together and will soon be released in form of an album.
‘My Year’ is the first single off her yet to be released studio album which according to Azawi gave her a hard time selecting the official track list out of the 50 songs she has written.

“I thank God for the gift of being able to write and sing my own songs,” Azawi said.
