Apple Features Yaw Tog in its Africa Rising Program

Ghanaian fast rising young artist Thorsten Owusu Gyimah, popularly known as Yaw Tog has been picked by Apple Music for it recent African development initiative dubbed ‘Apple Music Africa Rising Program’.
The talented rapper Yaw Tog expressed his gratitude to the program and his loyal fans on social media where he wrote: “I’m excited & honored to be the next Africa rising artist. I genuinely appreciate the support and love that my fans, music lovers all around the world, and the Apple Music team have shown me so far.

Apple Music Africa Rising program is an elite artist enhancement program that focuses on identifying, showcasing and supporting young and growing talents, as well as, inventing new talented superstars in Africa. The program works by picking six artists from African every year that are usually given editorial support for at least two months by the Apple Music platform including a launch interview with Nadeska on Apple Music.

The program, whose primary aim is to take talented Africans to the world’s music map, is currently available in 33 countries across Africa. Other African talents who have been selected include; Yemi Alade, Tiwa Savage, Cassper Nyovest, Rayvanny, Mr Eazi, Mayorkun, Patoranking, Kiddominant, Fireboy DML, Master KG, and Adekunle Gold.
Yaw Tog’s music is now available on Apple Music African Rising Playlist.
