Celebrated Rwandan singer Meddy has received massive praise hours after releasing his first ever gospel song dubbed ‘Holy Spirit’.

His social media handles and YouTube comment section are full of positive feedback from fans inspired by the new jam.

“Thank you very much, my little brother. This song has always been my prayer in difficult times, just like now with this Covid 19 with all it entails… Be blessed Ngabo,” Marie Antoinette said.

Meddy released the song as the world marked the International Women’s Day on May 9.

In the jam, he starts by acknowledging that he is not perfect but God’s love is always abounding even when he errs.

“I know I mess up all the time, I will never be perfect for you no, believe and pray that all I can right now crying for you, waiting for you to come, set me free, here with me, walk with me every day, pushing hard and harder,” the song’s lyrics read in part.
