Rwandan crooner Meddy is back in the game with a new gospel song dubbed ‘Holy Spirit’.

Be Encouraged by Psalms 118:14

Meddy released the song as the world marked the International Women’s Day on May 9.

In ‘Holy Spirit’, he starts by acknowledging that he is not perfect but God’s love is always abounding even when he errs.

“I know I mess up all the time, I will never be perfect for you no, believe and pray that all I can right now crying for you, waiting for you to come, set me free, here with me, walk with me every day, pushing hard and harder….” The song’s lyrics read in part.

It is not clear whether he is fully venturing into gospel music after releasing ‘Holy Spirit’, but his posts have a lot to say.

A week ago, Meddy without divulging much about his new project told his fans on Instagram that a “360” is coming; figuratively referring to the gospel song.

“360... You shall hear from me soon,” he wrote in one of his post.

In a separate post, he added that “Life is more precious when Jesus takes the wheel and you are only putting fuel .... Oh best believe.”
