Eddy Kenzo Explains Why He Didn’t Feature Diamond on His ‘Made In Africa’ Album

Ugandan artist Eddy Kenzo has opened up on why he did not feature Tanzania’s Diamond Platnumz on his ‘Made In Africa’ album, noting that he was interested in a specific sound for the project.

Speaking during a recent interview, Kenzo noted that he has plans of working with the Wasafi boss in future, but did not specify when.

“Everyone expected me to have a song with Diamond Platnumz, we shall do a song together but not on this album. I believe Diamond is now everywhere and I wanted to bring something different.” Eddy Kenzo told NTV’s The Beat.
Eddy Kenzo recently dropped his 21-track album titled ‘Made In Africa’. Among the top artists he featured on this new masterpiece are legendary the Late Philly Bongole Lutaaya (Born In Africa), Monique Seka on Missounwa and Congolese artist Kanda Bongo Man.

‘Made in Africa’ is Eddy Kenzo fifth album after; ‘Sitya Loss’ (2014), ‘Zero to Hero’ (2016), ‘Biology’ (2017) and ‘Roots’ (2018). All albums were released under the imprint of Big Talent Entertainment.
