More than a month since dancehall singer Poptain released ‘Bhurugwa’, it has become a huge sensation. Since the month of May kicked in, there have been comical dance challenges of the song.

‘Bhurugwa’ is a unique song featuring socialite Hell Commander. It is a blend of dancehall and electro. The lyrical content has more of a comical approach which has inspired the dance challenge.

The song can defiantly get you up on your feet dancing in a style which Poptain is known for coupled with his deep voice that rock to the taste of the fused beats with a deep electro undertone.

‘Bhurugwa’ was shot in South Africa. Some of his fans said the song redefines the new genre he has tried and that the song is dope.

“When he drops just know that it's a hit.... For now let's call him tha Yardbwoy tha Hitmaker,” Odessy Scott said.

Nosipho Ketsekile said ‘Bhurugwa’ has thrust Poptain in his own musical league that not many people can get to.

“They must leave you alone, you are on your own league. They must put respect on your name,” she said.
