A first born of four children, Osanjo was born and raised in Nairobi. Music has always been a part of her life from home and school. Osanjo wrote her first song at 7 inspired by Michael Jackson’s ‘Heal the World’. She sang in choir all through her primary and secondary school education.

She joined Sauti Academy for a semester after finishing her fourth year of university at Maseno University studying Actuarial Science. Guitar playing started at 2018 and helped her write many of the songs she plays at gigs at Kuona Arts Center, artisan markets like Pop Up and Chill and Asenka, open mics, the Fire and Ice concerts and many others.

She released her debut single “Imma Be” in 2019 and the follow up single “Paa (I’ll Rise)” in February 2021. Her musical influences are Beyonce, Michael Jackson, Lianne la Havas, Sauti Sol, Daniel Caesar, Ella Eyre, Chronixx and Christina Shusho.
