NEW MUSIC: Shukid Has Something For All Mothers
25 November 2014
The natural state of motherhood is unselfishness. When you become a mother, you are no longer the center of your own universe. You relinquish that position to your children. So the only way to fittingly thank your mother is by returning her to that position she let go of, for your sake. ID37Musics' artist, Shukid, shows you just how with the release of ‘You Had Me’, off his anticipated ‘Gods Speed’ EP.
Released on the 24th of November, which was Shukid’s mom birthday, ‘You Had Me’ is a dedication to all mothers; a sign of appreciation for all that a mother endures in raising their child. The song is produced by GnX Music and features female singer, Teach aka Shiko . Now, we all know Shukid for his adept rapping skills and over the bar lyricism. What makes this different is how he uses his skills to deliver such a conscious piece without falling into the habit of boredom. Teach, injects her silky vocals into this piece giving it a mellow effect.
Later on in the week, as he has a performance at Club Hypnotica set up with a live band for the Cypher Edition of Lovers n Friends, he also plans to release another single off Gods Speed, so stay calm and keep your eyes and ears keen on ID37Music. READ MORE HERE >> http://mdundo.com/news/3050
