Pia Pounds Hails Fans for Streaming her EP Despite Limited Promotion

Fast-rising Ugandan artist Pia Pounds has appreciated her fans for streaming her latest EP dubbed ‘Tupaate’ despite conducting limited promotional activities.
When artists release new music, most of them invest heavily on marketing and promotion with an aim of getting their songs to the intended target audience. However, for Pia Pounds, she was unable to extensively push the EP due to financial constraints as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic.

Pia Pounds notes that despite conducting limited promotion for the project, fans still trooped to streaming platforms and downloaded the EP with many other requesting her songs in the media.
"It was just a blessing from God. I have always promoted my songs the same way. We always make a small budget with my team but there is something about those songs that amazed me.

"We were in the middle of the pandemic, very broke with no single coin but still people got to love my music,” she told Spark TV.
'Tupaate' EP (loosely translated to mean Let's Party) dropped in September, 2020. The EP has four songs namely; Good Good, Selection, Tupaate and Wakikuba.
