Rwanda’s Amalon Explains Why He Left 1K Entertainment

Singer Amani Bizimana alias Amalon is on a new label searching path after leaving 1K Entertainment which he worked under for the last two years.

For the past four months, there have been questions on his whereabouts. He did not release new music which is unlike him. The last time he released a song was eight months ago when he released ‘Ngirente’ that was a hit in Rwanda.

He now says that he is out looking for greener pastures in music after leaving the label.

1K in a statement announced Amalon’s departure from the label noting that it was all in peace and that they respect his wish to continue his musical dream elsewhere.

Amalon later told the press that his decision to leave 1K Entertainment was not out of bad blood but the need to have a new challenge in his music career.

“1K entertainment shaped my music career and it gave me a productive career but it’s high time for me to try elsewhere, but all is good with 1K, it remains my family,” Amalon told KT Press.

While signed under 1K Entertainment, Amalon released viral songs besides ‘Ngirente’. The Rwandan crooner also released ‘Byakubaho’, ‘Impanga’ among others. He also did features for Bushali, Alyn Sano, DJ Miller among others.
