Wezi Heartsound Celebrates as ‘Take My Heart’ Cover Becomes Her Most Viewed Song

Zambian songstress Wezi Heartsound is celebrating a major milestone in the music industry thanks to her ‘Take My Heart’ cover song.

She says this is the greatest video she has released in her music career, adding that it is a celebration for General Ozzy as he turned a year old.

“Take my heart cover has over half a million views on YouTube making it the video with the most views amongst all the music videos I’ve ever released. This is how I celebrate a living legend, a personal favorite! In my own perception, the G.O.A.T! God bless General Ozzy, Happy birthday to you!” she said in an Instagram post.

When she released the song, Wezi said that it was a tribute to General Ozzy.

“Heartsound music presents, a tribute to Zambian music’s very own Five star general, General Ozzy. A cover of the song ‘Take my heart’ originally written & produced by Chali “BRAVO” Mulalami for Slingbeats, sung by General Ozzy featuring Ugandan legendary duo, Radio & Weasel from the ‘Kobili’ album which is amongst the General’s 7 studio albums,” she said in April 2020 when she released the cover song.
