Chillspot Records Elated after Hosting Zimbabwe’s Deputy Minister of Sports

Chillspot Recordz had the honour of hosting Deputy Minister of Youth, Sports, Arts and Recreation Macha Kairetino on Wednesday.

The senior government official made the maiden visit to the studios to learn more about music production.

Chillspot is known for its blasting Riddim production which has become a mainstay in Zimbabwe and makes a statement just like other famed genres such as Zimdancehall.

In a statement, Chillspot said that: “Today we were graced by a surprise visit from the Deputy Minister of Youth, Sports, Arts and Recreation Hon @machakairetino who visited ChillspotRecordz to find out more about the stable that’s making waves in Zimbabwe.”

During his visit, Chillspot played Kairetino some of their best production of Pamutabehra Riddim and Zvekudaro Riddim which the label has been tirelessly pushing in the industry.

“During his visit we sampled Foreign Pamutabehra Riddim and Zvekudaro Riddim which are coming out next week and he was very impressed. “Thank you Hon. Tino Machakaire for coming to see us in Mbare it is motivational, God bless you,” Chillspot added.

In Zimbabwe, Chillspot Records is the top label for Riddim music. It has become the powerhouse for great Riddim music and has helped revolutionize riddim genre in Zimbabwe.
