Ugandan Songs: Rhoda K Releases New 'Omala' Video

Ugandan dancehall artist Rhoda K Shelby has released a new song dubbed 'Omala'.

In 'Omala' (loosely translated from Luganda to mean 'You are Enough For Me'), Rhoda K says she is content with her man's love as it takes her places she has never been to.

The song has a radical dancehall beat and explicit lyrics that were written by popular songwriter Mozy Writer.

The song was produced by Brian Beats and the video directed by Frank Jah from Jah Live.

In the video, Rhoda K showcases her dance moves alongside mixed race vixens. Her signature sense of style does not change as she appears with long colored braids and skimpy clothes.

Rhoda K made her music comeback in 2020 after taking a hiatus and travelling abroad.

She bounced back with a jam dubbed 'Negweela' and it was received well paving way for other hits from the talented singer.

For now, fans are hoping that she’ll keep up with the energy she’s exhibited and release more jams in a bid to reclaim her place in the Ugandan music scene.
