I bet you didn't see that one coming right? Well, Grammy winner, Wizkid announced that he is coming through with a brand new album "tonight" if his recent activity via his Instagram story is anything to go by.

Nothing to be excited about anyways as Wizkid has a history of not meeting up with release dates. Meanwhile, considering it was April 1 which is April Fools Day so it’s quite easy to conclude that Starboy was just playing around or maybe not.

Wizkid only released his Made in Lagos album about five months ago and although revealing that his next album is ready shortly after that, it is very unlikely that we will be getting another Wizkid album this soon. But who knows, the Starboy Entertainment boss might have just been in a good mood and decided to spoil fans with some brand new Wizkid music.

Released October 30 2020, The Made in Lagos album by Wizkid is a follow up to his 2017 critically acclaimed Sounds From the Other Side project which was primarily targeted for the international market and going by Wizkid’s timeline of album releases which puts his four albums 3 years apart, we might just have to be waiting till 2023 before actually getting another Wizkid album.

Hopefully he decides to break this code and release a new project soon enough but a new Wizkid album tonight? Maybe we might just have to wait till after midnight to be sure if he has fooled us all or not.
