Buffalo Souljah Nominated for International Reggae Music Awards

South-African based reggae star Buffalo Souljah has been nominated for International Reggae & World Music Awards (IRAWMA).

In a post on his socials, Souljah excitedly shared the news of his nomination in the 39th edition of IRAWMA and asked his fans to vote for him.

“Yo Family Another Nomination @irawmaawards #IRAWMA21 Jah Kno I’m very humbled and honored for the nomination,” he wrote.

He has been nominated under the best African Dancehall Entertainer.

Buffalo will be battling it out with big names in the industry such as Ghana’s Shatta Wale, Zimbabwe’s Winky D, Patoranking (Nigeria), and Stonebwoy (Ghana).

A virtual International Reggae and World Music Awards (IRAWMA) will be held on May 2 in Jamaica.

Meanwhile, Buffalo Souljah is currently flying high with his sixth album dubbed ‘Unity’ which is all about unity and strength.

“This album is different in so many ways from Afro reggae Dancehall fusion sounds to the features amalgamating from some African artistes bringing unity through music…The message in Unity is Strength, unity means in market, unity is wealth. The concept behind #Unityalbum is me targeting African artistes that I’m friends with to spread a powerful message of unity amidst the dark times,” he said.
