Bongo Stars Come Together, Welcome New President Samia Suluhu

Several bongo music stars have come together to congratulate the country’s new and first female president Samia Suluhu.

Suluhu was sworn-in on Friday morning after the untimely demise of President John Pombe Magufuli following a cardiac arrest.

Following the leadership change, bongo stars have shared their congratulatory messages, pledging support in her new tenure.

“Hongera sana mama yetu Samia Suluhu Hassan kwa kuwa Raisi wa Kwanza wa Kike Nchini Tanzania....Post na Comments za watu kuanzia mitandaoni Mpaka majumbani, zinadhihirisha ni kiasi gani watu Wanakupenda na WanaKuamini...nakutakia kila lakheri katika kuendeleza Mazuri aloyaanzisha Dr. John Pombe Magufuli na mengineyo mengi utayoyafanya,” said Diamond.

Following Magufuli’s death, several Tanzanian music stars came together and condoned with the leader, who introduced a raft of measures to improve the music industry. Several musicians have also released tribute songs in remembrance of Magufuli.
