Alphajiri Features Kidum in New ‘Why Lie’ Video

Kenya's dynamic Pop duo Alphajiri has teamed up with the legendary Kidum to bring you a groovy pop single titled ‘Why Lie’.
‘Why Lie’ is a vibrant jam that touches on topics of love and heartbeat. The Alphajiri narrate how permanent their love is and promise that they are being truth full.

On the other hand, Kidum blesses the song with his soulful vocals as he feeds off Alphajiri’s vibe.
The audio was arranged and produced by Ilhaji with Rahim creating and directing the video concept.
The song has been received well by fans who wrote positive comments for the fast-rising duo Alphajiri.

One of their YouTube fans expressed her love for Alphajiri by writing, “Aki these guys are just perfect. I started listening to their songs one year ago but I tell you vocals are on point I don't know why people can't see that and give them full support but keep pushing one day you will testify.. love you so much, guys.”
The song which is only a day old already has over 15,000 views on YouTube.
Meanwhile, ‘Hallo’ which King Kaka released last year in November featuring Kidum is still doing well on YouTube and currently has over 240,000 views.
‘Hallo’ is an urban love story which is explained through dramatized visuals from talented Kenyan actor Martin Githinji popularly known as Daddie Marto and the beautiful Lucy Nyawira.
