Eddie Black to Release New Song Dubbed ‘Tuji’

Celebrated Zambian Eddie Black has announced that he’ll soon be dropping a new single to start off his 2021 musical year.

The new song will be titled ‘Tija’ which means ‘I run’. He is planning to release the new song on March 15.

Eddie made a turnaround from being a secular hip-hop artiste to venture into gospel music in 2016. His first gospel album ‘I Just Got Saved’ was a message to his fans that this is a big decision he made for a worthy cause.

“Pretty much everything I’m saying is from the perspective of someone that just got recruited to the greatest battalion, in the largest militant group in the Universe. Believe me it’s an army and I’m still a recruit, well that’s the theme. I’m past recruit,” he told Lusaka Times in a past interview.

In his musical journey, Eddie says turning to God has always been the biggest and best decision he has made over the years.

“The greatest thing that happened to me was being born again. To know Him, my maker. And though I’ve found Him, to seek Him still, for He is infinite in His being, that’s all the growth I need, to know Him, he said.

He acknowledges that he is yet to get there but he is hopeful that he will grow into a big gospel artiste.
