While announcing the news recently in his Facebook page, he said that time has come for him to take the next step.

“This is an idea that popped up some time back. I thought I’ve grown in this music industry, over 20 years. There comes a time in life when you need to start sharing so much knowledge and wealth especially if you see that you can help, that’s how the dream came up,” he explained.

He said 18 years ago, he met a friend who challenged him on the recording label and he is glad that he has finally made it.

“…that dream we always used to speak about 18 years ago and he said ‘you have the wealth how can I come in as a partner we go in and we see what happens,” he added.

Now that Phantom Music has been created, Kaya is looking forward to taking Zambian music to another level. He is currently working on a new single to be released soon and will have collaborations with international artistes in the coming future.

Phantom will give as smooth transition for old and young artistes which could be what Zambia is lacking at the moment.
