Zuchu Reveals Challenges She Faced Collaborating with Diamond on ‘Che Che’ and ‘Litawachoma’

WCB singer Zuchu has explained the troubles she went through before landing a collaboration with Diamond Platnumz. Speaking during a recent interview, Zuchu revealed that although Diamond is her boss, he does not give out collaborations with his artists easily.
Last year, Zuchu collaborated with Diamond releasing the ‘Cheche’ and ‘Litawachoma’ singles that were well received. Zuchu maintained that she had to work hard before Diamond hopped on the two singles.

She noted that Diamond gave her an ultimatum, to produce a good song if he likes it, then he will collaborate. The singer states she was forced to research Diamond’s previous collaborations with other WCB artists before catching his attention.

“Kitu cha kwanza nilifanya research nyimbo boss amefanya na wasanii wake...si rahisi kuimba naye. I worked hard...” said Zuchu.
Zuchu added that she had no plans of sharing her verse with Diamond as she was afraid of rejection. However, she was pushed by Rayvanny to play the song before Diamond.

The ‘Sukari’ singer points out that before collaborating with Diamond, one needs to do a full song then he’ll decide where to hop in.
Diamond is one of the biggest artists in Africa and securing a collabo with him is almost a sure guarantee of massive success on the song’s side.
