Celebrated Kenyan artist King Kaka has released a new jam dubbed ‘Ganji’.

‘Ganji’ talks about societal pressures that graduates face today. The song is sang from the perspective of two graduates; one graduate who was recently employed and the other one who is a thug.

They engage in a row, as they both justify why they need the money. The song ends on a sad note when the graduate thief shoots the newly employed graduate for refusing to hand over the money.

The visuals which were directed by Dambiz and King Kaka also highlight the fact that eight out of ten graduates in the country are unemployed.

As a Unicef Ambassador in Kenya, King Kaka has been on the fore front in using his platform to address challenges that we are facing as a society.

In 2019, he ignited the fury of Kenyans after releasing ‘Wajinga Nyinyi’. In this song he laid bare the corruption that has affected all sectors of our economy and provoked some political leaders who responded fiercely to the content of the message.
