Ugandan Musicians Association acting President Cindy Sanyu has dished out words of advice to fellow artists on how to play their cards right, and avoid losing lots of their hard-earned money during the music creation process.

According to Cindy Sanyu, the main reasons why many artists do not make good money from their music is because they are too lazy to do anything for themselves, leaving most of the work to their managers.

In her view, she has managed to achieve much success because she writes all her songs, and is directly involved in all stage of her music production, meaning her team only comes in to do the promotion bit.
