Celebrated Tanzanian musician Alikiba joined the music industry in 2007, and was among the pioneers of the new bongo sound. During the era, Alikiba hit the industry alongside several musicians who ruled the airwaves. However, compared to his peers, Alikiba has managed to stand out and remain relevant for a long while.

Z Anto

He was famous for the Binti Kiziki hit single. Z Anto blessed fans with catchy vocals and unique story telling reflecting his life. Since then, Z Anton took a break but has been attempting to make a comeback but has failed to regain his spot.

J.I

The singer was known for the heartbreak song 'Kidato Kimoja'. After dropping this largely successful single, J.I has rarely been heard of.

Said Hassan

He was known for his unique storytelling skills in his productions. Hassan was perfect with love duets that left a lasting memory among listeners. After dropping the ‘Naogopa’ single, Hassan released a couple of hit songs but failed to retain his status.
