Australian-Based Charles Kagame Working on New Album

Australian-based Rwandan gospel artiste Charles Kagame is working on a new album days after recovering from a nasty car accident.

Kagame, who recently released a new sing titled ‘Amakuru’ said this will be his maiden album. He says that it has been a long journey healing from the injuries he sustained during the accident.

“I am back to the studio after months down struggling with wounds sustained from car accident. I am already working on my album which will feature 10 songs including the recently produced ‘Amakuru’,” he told KT Press.

Though in Australia, he has not slowed down on his music career. He is signed under Moriah Entertainment.

In his new album, he has several collaborations with various artistes. He added that his plan to release the music earlier was thwarted by COVID-19 making it difficult to collaborate with other artistes.

“Coronavirus messed up; I had planned to work with various musicians but it was not possible. However, I am working hard to make my maiden album amazing to gospel music fans,” he said.

Kagame’s biggest agenda is to tap into the international market and get his music out there. Some of this famous hits include; Tubagarure Ntuzibagirwe and Naragukunze.
