Israel Mbonyi Set to Perform in Israel in 2021

 Rwanda’s Israel Mbonyi together with his electrifying band are set to perform in Israel in April, 2021.

While communicating the good news, Mbonyi said that he has been able to secure this golden opportunity courtesy of #TwendeJerusalem campaign in collaboration with Israeli Embassy in Rwanda.

#TwendeJerusalem is geared towards promoting talents among the youths and leans more on cultural arts.

Mbonyi together with his band will visit several cities in Israel where he is scheduled to perform.

You can catch his performances in Galilea, Golgotha, Nazareth, Jerusalem among others. For him though, the Israeli visit gives him a unique chance to sell his music which is something he has been looking forward to.

“I am so excited and thankful to Israel’s Embassy in Rwanda for this opportunity to not only explore the beauty of Israel for the first time, but also sing from there together with my entire band,” he told.

“This is a good initiative that will put the Rwandan music industry on a higher-level because there will be more local artistes given the same opportunity, hence more exposure of our Rwandan music,” he added.

Mbonyi will be the first Rwandan artiste to perform in Israel courtesy of the campaign. Israel’s Ambassador to Rwanda Ron Adam said that the campaign will give a new line for Rwanda and Israel relationship which has for ages been pegged on partnerships in agriculture, health and education.
