Harmonize Calls on Fellow Bongo Artists to Use English Lyrics

Tanzanian music star Harmonize has urged his fellow musicians to adopt new ways of doing music.

According to the singer, Tanzania is rich with talent that should be embraced by the whole world.

However, for that to be achieved, the ‘Nishachoka’ singer has asked Tanzanian artists to also embrace the use of the universal language English.

Harmonize felt that as much as Swahii has been appreciated over the past few years, he believes its time artists also did their part to help reach the larger audience in terms of selling their music.

Through his Instagram post he gave reference to his music ‘Bedroom’ and ‘Fall in Love’ that became instant hits despite being in English. His latest jam ‘All Night’ featuring Anjella has also gone viral.

So far, some artists like Wasafi’s Mbosso opted to have English subtitles for their music to help reach a bigger audience.
